The Team

Keely Jardine Coleman

Keely Jardine Coleman is a Loreal Professional Certified Balayage Expert specializing in natural looking hair color and French Balayage highlights. Her passion for creating highlights that look sun-kissed was inspired by her years spending time on the beaches of Santa Barbara. Observing the way surfer girls' hair naturally lightens in the sun and ocean led her to study the art of Balayage, a classic French technique that creates gorgeous, beachy highlights that offer dramatically lower maintenance than traditional foil highlights.

Keely has a Bachelor's degree in English from UC Santa Barbara and received her advanced education as a colorist at Vidal Sassoon and Loreal Academy in New York City under celebrity colorist, Nancy Braun (www.nancybraunsalon.com).  She studies in Santa Barbara, Laguna Beach, Santa Monica and New York City annually for trend and technique updates.

When not in the salon Keely enjoys painting, making pottery and hiking with her three dogs, Vita, Elvis and Hobbes.

Maurice Cohen

With over 50 years of experience in the salon industry,

Maurice Cohen began his career in Paris, France. After

moving to America he opened one of the most

distinguished salons in San Francisco, St. Tropez on

Union Street.  Maurice has been a trendsetter and

visionary throughout his career and has been featured

in many magazines and trade publications, including

People Magazine and Intercoiffure International.

During his years in the city it was not uncommon to see

the city's most polished socialites sitting next to a local

news anchor or celebrity. Clients travel hundreds of

miles to sit in Maurice's chair… and they continue to

do so now that he is located in Downtown Danville.

Many clients have been seeing Maurice for many decades.

He has trained and mentored hundreds of stylists who

now populate salons all around the country.

Maurice believes that training should be consistent and on-going

and has always had an in-house training program for the salon's

assistant stylists that is now lead under Keely's creative direction.

When not in the salon Maurice enjoys spending time with his three

grandchildren and enjoying his home in the Palm Springs area.
